Program Description Engineering at Swansea University is taught in a cutting-edge learning environment using state-of-the-art teaching facilities. Swansea's Mechanical Engineering degree prepares students for a rewarding career in a range of engineering sectors. Students will develop their analytical abilities whilst gaining hands-on experience of advanced equipment, establishing skills which are vital to securing employment in the wider industry. They will work closely in the state-of-the-art facilities throughout their time in Swansea. These include a dynamics mechanics laboratory, a fluids laboratory and our JetCat P120 engine test room. Swansea also has cutting edge units for digital manufacturing and robotics. Swansea's graduates are set on course for a range of exciting career opportunities including: Automotive Engineer, Mining Engineer, Workshop Technician, Reliability Engineer, Stress Engineer, and Mechatronics Engineer.
