Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Nursing (PBNSG)

Sheridan College - Davis

What you will study

This degree reimagines what nursing education should be, helping students understand the valuable roles that both Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) play in the health-care system. Students will first learn entry-to-practice competencies required of both RPNs and RNs, then build on that knowledge to master advanced competencies RNs need to care for unstable and complex patients.

Graduate with nearly 1,600 hours of real-world experience. This is the first nursing degree program in Ontario to include two consolidation preceptored placements, sharpening students skills after their fourth and eighth semesters. Sheridan's nursing labs also use high-fidelity mannequins and UbiSim virtual simulation software to ensure students enter the workforce ready to care for patients.
