What you will study
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is designed to prepare students for a career in business, focusing on entrepreneurial skills and priorities. Small business management becomes more important as small and medium-sized enterprises increase their contribution to Canada's economy. The BBA explores the daily ethical, financial, and managerial issues that Canadian businesses and managers face.
Students will learn fundamental business concepts, including accounting, human resource management, communications, marketing, information technology, law, and economics. In addition to completing core business courses, students can customize their BBA based on their interests and career goals by selecting business electives from various subject areas, including accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and management.
The BBA program also allows skilled tradespeople to apply trades qualifications toward a bachelor's degree. Students with a recognized journeyman certificate may receive up to 45 credits toward the 120 required for this degree.
