A degree in fine arts can prepare students for careers in artistic fields such as a fine artist, an illustrator, an animator, a graphic designer, a printmaker, an arts administrator or an instructor in any of the visual arts. Within the major, students have the opportunity to focus on drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics or jewelry. Along with their art studies, students take liberal arts and science courses to build a strong curriculum.
