What you will study

Civil engineering combines student's creativity with technological and scientific knowledge that can change the world. They will learn how to design and manage high-profile projects.

Working together in teams they'll learn about: structures

Also as part of their course they will take part in site visits to see civil engineering in action. They will access research and laboratory facilities, including: wind tunnels

earthquake simulators design studios CAD

This BEng program is a four-year accredited degree. They will have the possibility of moving to a MEng masters degree at the end of their second year if their performance meets the criteria. This provides the preferred route to achieving Chartered Engineer status.

Year three is spent in industry.
