With a total of 5.44 billion people using mobile phones in early 2023, equating to 68% of the global population (Digital 2023 Global Overview Report), strategic marketing for the digital world has become more important now than ever.

On this programme you will develop valuable marketing knowledge in areas such as strategy management, global marketing, and digital communications, combined with key transferable skills to help you become career-ready and achieve your goals. You will learn how to conceive, design and implement a substantial research project, enhancing lifelong learning skills for your professional development and future career.

• Learn how to improve entrepreneurial marketing and business practice by understanding how to apply knowledge to complex business issues. • Explore digital communications and the ways in which SMEs approach marketing in a digital world. • Understand how to make the most of marketing opportunities through an innovation-focused approach. • Develop marketing analytics skills and boost your awareness of sustainability marketing. • Build practical knowledge with applied projects to prepare you for employment.

Extended route and Advanced Practice

The Extended MSc Marketing with Advanced Practice integrates the Graduate Certificate programme with our standard MSc Marketing with Advanced Practice programme, allowing you entry with qualifications equivalent to a standard degree (third class, pass or ordinary).

With the Advanced Practice option, after completing your postgraduate modules, you will undertake a 15-week long internship, or applied consulting project, working with a real organisation on a live business problem.

• Build a solid foundation in the skills needed for postgraduate studies • Progress straight into the MSc Marketing with Advanced Practice after passing the Graduate Certificate stage with a minimum pass mark of 50% in each module • Gain experience of a workplace environment and ‘real world’ issues • Get career-ready by putting your learning into practice

Please note if you undertake an internship this may be paid or unpaid.
