Doctor of Management, Marketing and People program is offered within LSBU Business School. In this PhD program, students work with research supervisors to develop projects that shape theory, policy, and practice in the fields of management, marketing, and organizational behavior.
Under the guidance of two supervisors, students undertake empirical or theoretical research designed to generate new knowledge in a chosen area and are required to produce either a series of journal articles or a thesis of up to 80,000 words.
Previous PhD research topics have included determinants of self-disclosure in online interactions, female identity constructs and consumer behavior, multicultural identities and consumer decision making, brand portfolio management, adoption and use of Conversational Service Agents in service delivery, corporate social responsibility communication, and employee voice.
A broad range of research proposals within the business domain is welcomed, provided they demonstrate potential for rigor, originality, reach, and impact.
