As a student in geophysics and meteorology, they will learn to apply their knowledge and skills to diverse fields.

For example: • Students will study the Earth's atmosphere, including its structure, thermodynamic processes, rain formation, radiation, and air pollution.

• Students will interpret weather systems and climate processes.

• Students will monitor the Earth's changing environment and climate.

• Students will map environmental pollution above and below ground.

• Students will measure rock and soil properties before civil engineering work.

• Students will be involved in carbon capture, energy storage, and management of water resources.
