Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) (Optional Co-op)

Brock University

What you will study

Program Description Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement. Students will study the anatomy and physiology of body movement, including issues related to the maintenance, rehabilitation or enhancement of movement and performance.

The Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKin) degree emphasizes the biophysical, behavioural and socio-cultural aspects of kinesiology, including exercise prescription and rehabilitation, fitness programming and clinical assessment. This degree trains effective health professionals who will transfer scientific theory into practice.

Students can apply after first year into the Co-op stream. They would complete the same academic course work as the BKin majors but would have three four month work terms during the spring/summer of second, third and fourth year.
