Bachelor of Science (Honours) - International Business (N110)

In today's business world, being international is a necessity. Loughborough's Bachelor of Science (Honours) in International Business is a modern-day business course which concentrates on the links between the major business functions and their role in the international business context. By covering the key management disciplines from a global perspective, students will be equipped for a successful career in a range of business and management roles. Students also have access to an exclusive set of international business modules, plus the chance to develop their language skills.

In the first year of this program, students will be introduced to the major business functions as well as the financial, economic, organizational and international environments that managers and organizations must operate within. In the second year, students will further their study in the international business context and examine how managerial issues vary around the globe. Students will also have the option to undertake an ‘International Semester’, which is a 6-month study abroad scheme. There is also the opportunity to integrate an International Semester into the second year of study, as well as opportunities for students to enhance their language skills in German, French, Spanish and Mandarin.

In the final year of the program students will have the opportunity to build on their experiences on placement or studying abroad. Students will be able to tailor their degree and choose more advanced optional modules that suit their career ambitions. Among others, these include an exclusive set of international business modules, and a wide range of options in management, finance, marketing, operations, analytics, human resource management, and new business development.

Skills for employability is a key part of the Loughborough University's experience and can really boost students' job prospects and this degree has a module specifically built in to help students develop their study and employability skills. There are also specific modules in entrepreneurship to help those with aspirations to start or develop their own businesses.
