What you will study

University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Aviation - Pilot Training (BP345P23) (111190K) The RMIT Bachelor of Aviation (Pilot Training) provides students with a strong understanding of the global aviation industry and prepares them for careers as pilots or in operational management and planning roles. The program combines flight training with industry-relevant theory to support a wide range of aviation career pathways.

In this industry-led degree, students develop the skills needed to assess and manage various aspects of aviation operations, while learning to work both independently and collaboratively to solve real-world industry challenges. The program also builds key capabilities in problem-solving, communication, and leadership.

Students complete a combination of aviation theory and practical flight training, working towards obtaining their Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL), Private Pilot Licence (PPL), and Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), enabling them to fly commercially within Australia.
