What you will study
University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.
Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

University Diploma - Graphic Design (C5409) (105817H) RMIT’s Diploma of Graphic Design develops students’ creative and technical skills, preparing them to work across a range of visual communication and design contexts.
The program provides in-depth knowledge of the design process while building expertise in industry-standard software and tools. Students gain practical experience creating visual solutions for print and digital platforms, including branding, packaging, publications, websites and advertising materials.
With a strong technical focus, the diploma develops capabilities in digital design, print production and typography, alongside concept development and creative problem solving. Students explore diverse forms of visual communication, such as illustration, typography, calligraphy and lettering, packaging design, books, and promotional materials.
Throughout the program, students become proficient in industry-standard software, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, equipping them with the skills required for professional practice in graphic design.
