The handling of materials through purchasing, production, traffic, and warehousing is a key aspect of much of today’s economy and requires effective, trained professionals to make sure it all works correctly for businesses to function. This program is designed by working operations professionals with specific consideration to the practical needs of students career as well as preparation for the APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management CPIM exams.

By learning from industry professionals at BCIT, students will be able to apply their new skills to their existing role or use these skills to move into a material management position. The focus on practical training means that students course topics will relate directly to their potential positions such as purchasing coordinator, production manager, or warehouse supervisor. Please note: Flexible Credential programs are part-time however enrollment in these programs does not affect PGWP eligibility.
