Bachelor of Engineering - Aerospace Engineering (Honours) (BH078) (079776K): In this industry-focused degree students will gain specialist skills in the analysis, design, and operation of sophisticated aerospace hardware and software.

Students will study a broad range of areas such as aerodynamics, aerospace materials and structures, aerospace systems, design, dynamics and control, thermodynamics, and propulsion. Elective studies will allow them to tailor the course to suit their areas of interest and enhance their career opportunities. Sustainability issues are built into multiple areas of the course. This increases their employability as there is increasing demand for long-term engineering solutions in this industry.

As an Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology’s graduate students will have the analytical, technological, and design skills required to practise aerospace engineering. They will also learn to appreciate the wider social implications of the engineering profession.

Students will have the opportunity to design creative solutions through inspiring and sustainable design-and-build projects, as well as taking part in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge - a humanitarian-focused course offered in all Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology’s engineering degrees.
