What you will study

The BSc (Hons) Business Psychology degree will help students gain an understanding of business and management. They'll develop their skills and knowledge of core areas of psychology, from cognitive psychology and neuroscience to developmental and social psychology. This course can be taken in sandwich mode, which means learners will be required to gain 50 hours of relevant work experience during their undergraduate study. Students will acquire research skills, a broad scientific education in psychology, and a knowledge of the methods for investigating human behavior and how to implement psychological theories in a business setting. The University of Greenwich's psychology courses were rated top in London for student satisfaction in the Complete University Guide 2018. This undergraduate degree aims to equip future supervisors and managers with the theoretical base and practical skills to manage people and the dynamics of human interaction in the workplace. It also aims to develop the ability to deal effectively with, and find practical solutions to, people-related issues within organizations. Upon successful completion of the BSc (Hons) Business Psychology, students will be eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the British Psychological Society, which is required to gain entrance to BPS accredited postgraduate modules and training programmes that lead to becoming a Chartered Psychologist.
