2-Semester Pathway - International Year One in Law - Continue to Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Honours) - Law

Cardiff University International Study Centre

What you will study

The International Year One in Law builds students' subject knowledge, English skills and confidence so that students can make a strong start to their degree. When students complete the programme and achieve the required grades, they will enter the second year of a degree at Cardiff University. When students progress to LLB Law, they will study in the School of Law and Politics, a research-led School with a reputation for internationally excellent research. In the third year, students will have the opportunity to apply for a work placement and undertake legal practice. Students will also be able to work pro-bono on real cases during their degree, supervised by qualified solicitors. When students graduate from Cardiff University, they could choose from a range of careers across the public and private sector. Whether students want to become a human rights lawyer, a paralegal, or something else entirely, they will have the skills they need to succeed.
