Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.
To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.
University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.
Prospective students are encouraged to contact an RMIT international advisor for assistance with their application and to determine the most suitable study option.
Double Degree - Bachelor of Engineering - Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics (Honours) & Bachelor of Business (BH086AMH23) (111184H) The RMIT Bachelor of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business double degree combines advanced mechatronics technologies, systems engineering, and additive manufacturing with business skills in areas such as international business, economics, or management. The program prepares students to design, build, and operate smart systems across industries including aerospace, automotive, food processing, and electronics, as well as manage large-scale global manufacturing operations.
By integrating engineering and business knowledge, graduates are well positioned to succeed in the globalised engineering economy. They develop capabilities across engineering, mechatronics, design, finance, and global business, along with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt as professional engineers.
The program includes studies in areas such as electronic system design, machine intelligence, and robotics, alongside business-focused topics like global markets, business analytics, or logistics and supply chain management. Students gain a broader perspective on engineering systems by understanding both technical and managerial contexts.
Hands-on learning is a key feature, with opportunities to apply theory through capstone projects, industry placements, and participation in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge, supporting the development of practical skills and real-world experience.
