University of Jamestown
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is designed for students who are interested in becoming well-rounded, compassionate Registered Nurses. The program focuses on patient-centered care with a bio-psycho-social-spiritual emphasis.
In University of Jamestown's state-of-the-art simulation lab, graduates will hone in on their nursing skills each semester. Simulations force them to think critically through complex clinical scenarios—like attending to multiple patients with the goal of providing safe, quality care—so they will immediately feel confident working in a clinical environment.
BSN programs are notorious for being rigorous and all-consuming. Although the School expect the best from the students, they are also encouraged to stay involved. Here’s how: • Athletics and other organizations - Work closely with students involved in athletics, the arts, and other campus organizations, so they can participate in the activities they love and still earn their nursing degree. • Student Nursing Association - Have a very active Nursing Student Association (NSA). They put on picnics, participate in blood drives, community blood pressure checks and community hands-only CPR training, among others.
