Program bundles are available exclusively to international applicants. These bundles, or program packages, combine one-year certificates to create a two-year term of study. This arrangement provides Saskatchewan Polytechnic international students with more options to obtain a post-graduate work permit. This option allows them to secure their seat and receive acceptance into both programs simultaneously. The bundle option is available only at the time of application. Post-Graduate Certificate - Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics encompasses the ability to analyze and learn from large amounts of data obtained from multiple sources, detecting patterns to make predictions about future trends. Businesses and industries benefit from predictive analytics in making decisions related to production, marketing, and development. Students will study: • cost and benefit estimation for process change • conversion of business questions into data mining problems • enterprise data architecture and associated technologies • strategies to leverage the popular data science language Python • the importance of business intelligence to the modern enterprise • the application of artificial intelligence (AI) application programming interfaces (APIs) to business applications • the application of algorithms to make predictions that form the foundation of machine learning • ethical issues surrounding big data • emerging applications of AI in common business areas
Post-Graduate Certificate - Technology Management Students will study the fundamentals of IT operations management and IT strategy, providing a high-level view of technology within an organization. They will also explore agile project management and practical IT architecture in a hands-on setting, equipping them with knowledge on how technology projects and initiatives are successfully executed. Additionally, students will learn about the technologies and techniques governing a business's critical data resources and how these resources support business decision-making.
