What you will study

Program Description This Advanced Materials Chemistry Masters course enables students to develop and further their knowledge on a range of core modules, culminating in a materials engineering-led research project within one of Nottingham Trent University's diverse range of research groups.

Throughout the course, students will study the functional roles of nanocomposites and inorganic solids, develop an understanding of the interplay between structure and observed properties, and explore investigation methods. Students will also study biomimetic and supramolecular approaches in materials chemistry.

Students will study under the Chemistry team who are comprised of academic and support staff that are subject experts in organic, inorganic, physical and analytical chemistry. Teaching and student satisfaction are very important and Nottingham Trent University has won awards and recognition for this aspect of their work.
