Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) - St. John's Campus
Energy systems engineering is a critical area in need of innovation and highly qualified personnel.
The need for readily available and high quality energy is expanding in Newfoundland and Labrador and globally, which has created a worldwide demand for professional training at the graduate level in areas related to the energy industry.
The demand for sustainable energy, as well as the environmental concerns of traditional techniques require significant innovation in energy systems engineering.
To develop more sustainable techniques requires research and innovation to achieve energy production and utilization that is financially viable, readily available and environmentally benign. This program is inter-disciplinary. It addresses the complexity and required expertise in several technical disciplines by the industry.
