What you will study

The International Year One programme provides an intensive combination of first-year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills. The business and marketing degree will give students broad business skills, including project management and strategic thinking, plus a thorough grounding in marketing. This degree is designed to specialise in marketing to introduce students to business from an analytical, strategic and marketing point of view. This course focuses on emerging issues such as sustainability, financial crises and technological innovation means that students will gain the skills to develop and manage businesses to a high standard. Through their studies, they will have the opportunity to work with business professionals and/or local communities on live projects. Graduates of this course have gone into specialist strategic marketing areas such as retail management, consultancy, small to medium businesses and start-ups.
