Overview
The Master of Social Work – Professional Qualifying (119188F) aims to provide a two-year postgraduate social work program delivered by distance education that leads to professional accreditation with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). It seeks to produce qualified social workers to help address the national shortage in rural and regional Australia, while also making the profession accessible to students who are unable to undertake full-time, on-campus study at metropolitan universities. Additionally, the program is designed to develop graduates who are dedicated to promoting social justice, human rights, and thriving communities at regional, national, and international levels through education, research, ethical practice, and partnerships.
