Program Description ARU has strong links with industry, so students can do work placements at music studios, theatres or production companies – and start building a standout CV while students study. There are four different music degrees to choose from: • Study music in the context of its modern application rather than historical period on the full-time Music BA (Hons) degree. • Learn how to succeed in the music business, from performance to production, by studying full-time Popular Music degree. • Discover how sound works, and how technology can help people master it, on the full-time, industry accredited Audio and Music Technology BSc (Hons) degree

Performance is at the core of the Music degree here at ARU. Students can immerse themselves in the creative, collaborative student community, take up opportunities to perform in Cambridge and beyond, and use facilities to develop their music and experiment with different styles and techniques. Take advantage of regular feedback on performance to quickly improve skills on a course that’s scored 100% for overall student satisfaction (National Student Survey, 2018 and 2019).
