The Bachelor of Public Relations Management (Honours) program prepares students to plan, develop, and manage strategic communication initiatives for organizations across a variety of sectors. The program combines theory and practice to build strong skills in media relations, corporate communications, branding, and digital engagement.
Students learn how to create effective communication strategies, manage public perception, and build relationships with diverse audiences. The curriculum covers areas such as public relations writing, crisis communication, social media management, research methods, ethics, and integrated marketing communications.
Through hands-on projects, case studies, and experiential learning opportunities, students gain practical experience in developing campaigns, producing professional communication materials, and working with real or simulated clients. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, storytelling, and adapting to the evolving digital media landscape.
Graduates are prepared for careers in public relations, corporate communications, media relations, government, non-profit organizations, and marketing agencies, where they manage communication strategies and help shape public image and engagement.
