Environmental studies at Cape Breton University provides students with the skills they need to thrive in the same real world they observe and assess. This program gives students the chance to examine key environmental subjects. Students can take part in air quality, water and soil assessments, waste management, sustainable development and environmental policy. All the while, building up their skills to take their next big step in life. Graduates from this program have secured successful careers in the technology industry, consulting with government, and with various public and private corporations.

*Please note: Cape Breton is implementing a Tuition Deposit Policy. The Tuition Deposit Policy will take effect for all applicants starting with the January 2024 application. Students who receive an offer to study at Cape Breton University will be required to make a nonrefundable tuition deposit of a minimum of $2,500 to confirm their seat in the program. If a student does not confirm their seat, CBU cannot guarantee a spot will be available at registration time.
