Overview
In a stocked tool kit, a carpenter’s hands and keen mind are the most important. Constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures for residential and light commercial use are all tasks that carpenters are needed for.
In this Carpentry program, not only students will develop practical skills such as framing walls, siding and drywall installation, constructing wooden forms for pouring concrete, and erecting scaffolding, but they will also learn about the codes, standards, and quality concepts that apply to carpentry. Carpenters are experts in home and business improvement. They’re strategic thinkers and practitioners who are always in demand.
