2-Term Pathway - International Foundation Year in Medicine - Continue Bachelor of Science (Hons) - Occupational Therapy

Brunel University London Pathway Colleges offers University Foundation Studies for candidates who do not meet the direct entry criteria or hold high school qualifications that are not recognised. Upon successful completion of the pathway programme students will progress onto Brunel University London Bachelor of Science (Hons) - Occupational Therapy At Brunel, it will be integrating theory with practice ans the students learn to examine the physical, psychological and contextual aspects of a patient. This can be from the acute stage through to the general rehabilitation in the community. They are encouraged to be creative in their approach and to develop ways to solve their problems; for instance,they could be helping someone who has had an amputation to use a wheelchair and identifying ways to have their kitchen adapted. On the course, they will be encouraged to use their own skills and hobbies to aid rehabilitation which can be anything from art or music to hair braiding.
