What you will study

Program Description English Language and TESOL degree covers everything students need to know to be able to teach English as a foreign language. Teaching English is a great way to see the world and will give students a passport to teach in all kinds of environments. During Swansea's three-year degree students will learn about theory and practice, language teaching methodology, vocabulary, grammar and meaning, psycholinguistics, first and second language acquisition and discourse analysis.

Almost 98% of English Language and TESOL Single and Joint Honours Graduates from Swansea University are in work and/or further study six months after graduation (97.4% - HESA Performance Indicator sourced from the DLHE 2013/14) and Swansea's English Language and TESOL degree will put students in a great position to succeed in a variety of careers.
