Accredited by the Association of Technology, Management and Applied Engineering, this CMU program prepares students for careers in industry with an emphasis on the management of technology applications. Students in this major learn engineering and manufacturing technology and how to make production faster, simpler and more efficient.​​ CMU's undergraduate engineering programs are ranked 86th among the nation's universities that offer bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering by U.S. News & World Report for their 2015 rankings.
