When students choose Modern Languages as their major, they can choose the Teacher Education Concentration. Not only will language courses give students a unique skill set, they will set their resume apart in the job market by demonstrating great discipline, flexibility in learning and critical thinking, and the ability to interact with a variety of backgrounds. In the Teacher Education Concentration, students will learn pedagogy and the foundations of education needed to teach foreign languages. The graduates teach Spanish, German, and French at high schools across Missouri.
