Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Philosophy, Politics, Ethics (LV25)

University of Brighton - City Campus

What you will study

The program in Philosophy, Politics, and Ethics addresses a variety of political issues within a critical, interdisciplinary setting. Students are guided by esteemed faculty members and participate in small seminar groups to cultivate skills in public speaking, debating, and critical analysis. These skills are essential for problem-solving in the real world and are applicable to a wide range of professions.

During the first year, students acquire foundational skills and knowledge. In the second year, they begin to specialize by selecting from various option pathways. In the third year, students continue to pursue their chosen pathways and undertake an independent project under the guidance of a supervisor. This allows students to become experts in their chosen research area, preparing them for post-graduation endeavors.

The student community is welcoming and diverse, offering numerous opportunities throughout the year to organize and participate in events where students collaborate with international scholars, politicians, activists, and writers.
