The Pre-Masters programme at the University of Sheffield International College offers a path to a masters for international students. Architecture, law, education, economics or business management are just some of the possible areas students can pursue after following these tailored Pre-Masters course.
The Pre-Masters in Business, Social Sciences and Humanities will introduce students to key elements related to their degrees, such as analysing business projects or interpreting statistics. This programme leads to a number of masters degrees in the Faculties of Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences, including the Management School, School of Law and Sheffield School of Architecture at the University.
This Pre-Masters course is developed in collaboration with the University. Throughout this programme students will develop the academic and English language skills needed for a chosen masters at Sheffield. Students will study core modules that cover general academic skills and pathway modules relevant to a chosen subject area. Some modules will depend on a chosen progression degree at the University. Students will receive regular feedback on their progress throughout their course so they know they're on the right track. Students have access to a dedicated team that offers progression support throughout their studies. Upon completion of the Pre-Masters in Business, Social Sciences and Humanities and achievement the required grades, students can enter their chosen postgraduate degrees at the University of Sheffield.
