The Lewis University program in Computer Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. From microprocessors to embedded computing devices, laptops to supercomputers, students will gain the expertise necessary to help invent the next generation of computing. Lewis' state-of-the-art undergraduate lab resources and supportive educational community provide the perfect learning environment to become a successful Computer Engineer. In this interdisciplinary curriculum that combines math, computer science, physics and electrical engineering, students will become an expert in: • How microprocessors function, are designed and are optimized • How integrated systems of electrical components are designed and how data is communicated among them to process instructions • How software is written, compiled and optimized for specific hardware platforms • The boundaries of physics and how to push them in order to develop the next generation of computing devices
