What you will study

On the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) accredited multi-platform Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Journalism course students will develop the skillset required for a journalism career including reporting, digital production, feature writing and shorthand. In addition to their course, they will take the (NCTJ) Diploma in Journalism, a recognised qualification for professional practice.

Students will learn from media professionals and academics and use the industry-standard facilities, which include a newsroom with live news and sports feeds, and sound, filming and editing equipment. They will benefit from lectures and masterclasses with industry experts, field trips, a placement and publish their work on student-run platforms from day one.
