What you will study

The joint honors program offers the opportunity to study the History of Art and English Literature in equal depth. Students will be introduced to art from various periods and world cultures through the History of Art module. They will gain knowledge on the purpose and audience of artworks, as well as their significance within visual and material culture. The program also encourages exploration of the meanings behind artworks and visual culture, and how they are interpreted. In the third and fourth years, students can choose to specialize in specific areas of the field, conduct independent research projects, and complete a dissertation. Additionally, there is an option to study abroad during the third year.
