Master of Arts (Honours) - Portuguese and English Literature (RQM3)

The University of Edinburgh

What you will study

Portuguese, one of the world's ten most widely spoken languages, is believed to have approximately 234 million speakers. The countries where Portuguese is spoken have had a considerable impact on literature, alongside English-speaking cultures.

The objective of this joint honours programme is to cultivate critical, analytical, linguistic, and creative skills by immersing oneself in a diverse selection of texts in both English and Portuguese, while exploring various approaches to reading.

Enrolling in this particular combination of studies demonstrates a willingness to embrace ideas and viewpoints beyond one's own, which is an indispensable quality in numerous professions and within a global marketplace.
