Le programme de gestion de projets (AEC) vise à former des professionnels qualifiés de l'élaboration de projets, au contrôle et à la gestion jusqu'à leur conclusion. La gestion de projets s’applique à plusieurs domaines; on peut gérer des projets dans les secteurs des affaires, de la technologie, de la construction, entre autres; localement, régionalement ou internationalement. Les gestionnaires de projet peuvent occuper des emplois dans des entreprises de différentes tailles et avec des collègues ayant des compétences très différentes (informatique, construction, exploitation minière, foresterie, etc.). Ce programme en gestion de projets offre aux diplômés un large éventail de possibilités d'emploi dans une variété d'entreprises. À la fin du programme, les étudiants auront des connaissances et des compétences requises pour :
• Gérer un projet selon les différentes étapes d’un cycle de gestion de projet • Différencier la gestion d'équipe ou d'entreprise et la gestion de projet • Produire la documentation du projet (plans, rapport final, etc.) • Planifier un projet (différents plans) • Utiliser divers outils de gestion de projet • Mesurer et contrôler l'exécution du projet • Clôturer un projet et transférer les responsabilités
