What you will study
The BSc (Hons) Cyber Security at the University of West London is designed to train future security professionals by combining fundamental concepts and principles with exposure to new technologies and solutions.
As more people spend time online and generate increasing amounts of data, the need for secure information systems continues to grow. This course prepares students to address these challenges.
During their studies, students will gain a practical understanding of key issues related to the design, analysis and implementation of modern IT security systems.
As a member of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Academy programme, the University has integrated part of its industry-focused curriculum into the course.
The BSc (Hons) Cyber Security at the University of West London also offers a foundation year. The foundation year course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to continue onto their Honours degree. Students will study a range of subjects that will underpin their future study and gain valuable experience of university life, with full access to campus facilities. Successful completion of the year allows students to progress straight onto Level 4 of the course.
