What you will study

For entry to the 1st year of an undergraduate degree at Bournemouth University. Students' course length is determined mainly by their English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent). Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Finance Develop a thorough understanding of the workings of national and global capital markets and financial systems with this Finance degree. Areas of focus include the pricing of financial assets, risk management and the behaviours of financial institutions. A degree in Finance will prepare students for a variety of roles in organisations of all sizes and from many sectors. Students will have an excellent grounding in finance before going on to specialise in their second year, ensuring that they keep their career options open. Some of the alumni go on to work for companies such as Airbus, Arcadia, Barclays Bank Plc, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, HMRC, IBM, Miscox, Threadneedle Investments and Vodafone.
