University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Double Degree - Bachelor of Engineering - Civil and Infrastructure (Honours) & Bachelor of Business (BH088CIH23) (111186F) The RMIT Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Infrastructure) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business double degree provides students with a competitive advantage, supporting progression into positions of responsibility and leadership. The program develops the capability to plan, implement, and manage civil and infrastructure projects across a wide range of industries, as well as government and non-government organisations.

The industry-accredited civil and infrastructure engineering component is aligned with Australian and global industry demands, covering sub-disciplines such as construction management, structural engineering, transport engineering, water engineering, and geotechnical engineering. The business component focuses on management functions and offers flexibility through a wide selection of majors and minors, allowing students to tailor their studies to their career goals.

This double degree emphasises practical experience and work-ready skills through work-integrated learning opportunities, including the Engineers Without Borders Challenge, industry-sponsored design projects, and work placements in Australia and overseas.
