4-Term Pathway - Foundation Certificate for Business, Law and Social Sciences - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Film Studies and Egyptology (Honours Select 50:50)

Joint students in Film Studies at University of Liverpool take 60 credits in Film per year. In Years Two and Three the full range of film modules are available to students, although the number which they select is limited to two per semester. In Year Three students may do a dissertation module in film or in their other joint subject (but not both). The Egyptology programme is designed to deliver a partial yet coherent programme in Ancient Egypt as students divide their time equally between Egyptology and another subject. Egyptology, being the study of a specific human culture, shares approaches with many core subjects in the Faculty. As a result, studying 50% Egyptology would work particularly well with a large number of other programmes both ancient (eg archaeology, classics and ancient history) and more modern (eg english, sociology, history, languages or politics).
