Durham University International Study Centre
The Pre-Masters in Science and Engineering prepares students for a choice of progression degrees at Durham University. They'll join the programme for two or three terms, depending on their academic qualifications and level of English language. With this course, learners will easily adjust to the UK education system and explore concepts, terminology and advanced academic writing needed to succeed at postgraduate level. Besides, they'll develop practical skills with research projects and laboratory experience. The main objective of the MSc Electronic Engineering course is to educate students in the key engineering aspects of electronic engineering, enabling them to undertake responsible, creative, challenging and stimulating posts in industry or research. In addition to the technical background, experience of applying theoretical concepts is gained through a major individual Research and Development project and a group design project. These projects enable students to develop the capacity to solve problems across the traditional engineering boundaries.
