University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.
Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Advanced Diploma - Engineering Technology - Civil Engineering Design (C6190) (119171D) The RMIT Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology (Civil Engineering Design) equips students with civil and structural engineering skills and knowledge across areas such as fluids, soil, concrete, computer-aided design (CAD), roads, drainage, and structures. The program focuses on the design and construction of infrastructure including roads, airports, railways, buildings, bridges, dams, and drainage systems.
Students develop practical skills in using CAD software to produce detailed drawings and plans, preparing cost estimates and material specifications, collaborating with construction professionals and project managers, inspecting completed works to ensure compliance with standards, and conducting laboratory and field testing of materials, soil, and water quality.
