What you will study

Architectural technologists are practical problem solvers. They work with architects, engineers and builders to turn architectural vision into designs that are buildable, sustainable, economical and structurally sound.

In the Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Architectural Technology course students will learn to take architectural design projects from concept to completion and appreciate the impact of architectural technology on people lives, and built and natural environment.

Students will develop their skills and gain extensive knowledge of design processes, construction methods, environments, materials and the latest technologies including Building Information Modelling (BIM). Fieldwork, site visits and working on live briefs in interdisciplinary teams provides further insight into professional practice.
