Nottingham Trent International College (at Nottingham Trent University)
If students hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but don’t meet the entry requirements for a master’s, a Pre-Master’s can help them gain a place on a postgraduate degree. The Forensic Mental Health Master’s degree is ideal if students are currently employed in / or desire to be employed in a forensic mental health setting. The course is designed to equip students with an extensive knowledge of theoretical and practical issues in forensic mental health and a critical awareness of the current philosophical, theoretical and methodological problems, debates and insights that shape the discipline. During the course students will also gain a critical appreciation of ethical, cultural, and legal issues arising from mental health practice and research.
