The Wilfrid Laurier University Bachelor of Education program is highly progressive and future-oriented. This program blends 21st-century skills and global perspectives with a focus on the diverse needs of children and youth in contemporary educational settings. The full-time, two-year Bachelor of Education program is meticulously designed to prepare students for teaching at the primary and junior levels (Grades K-6) or at the junior and intermediate levels (Grades 4-10). A key strength of our program, which distinguishes us among faculties of education within Ontario, is the robust collaboration with five local school boards. This partnership enables students to apply theoretical knowledge gained in university classes to practical teaching experiences during their field placements.
