Overview
This International Foundation Year provides preparation for the BSc (Hons) Information Technology with Business Studies degree. Students develop foundational knowledge in computing and technology while strengthening academic writing, research, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving and independent learning. The programme also introduces business-related concepts and helps students understand UK university study. Successful completion enables progression to undergraduate study exploring information technology, digital systems, business applications and technology management. The pathway is suitable for students interested in combining IT and business and seeking future opportunities in technology management, business systems, digital transformation, IT consultancy, systems support and commercial technology environments.
