Prepare for contemporary physiotherapy practice in the continually evolving Health and Social Care sector through the MSc in Physiotherapy (Pre-registration). Learn in a clinical environment, making the link between theory and practice from day one, and secure more than 1,000 hours of clinical practice.
Students will be taught in purpose-built rehabilitation and assessment facilities, which include a therapy clinic and movement analysis laboratory.
The overarching course philosophy is to integrate academic and clinical learning, preparing students for the workplace by exploring content through case-based learning.
The course aims to develop leaders in contemporary physiotherapy practice. Students will be an agent for change in service improvement and innovation - ready to influence the local, national and international health and wellbeing agenda. Students will also be able to collaborate effectively with service users, carers, health professionals and other agencies as they work to provide high-quality healthcare.
