Foundation Studies - Engineering and Science (FS022SES) (108492M): Foundation Studies is delivered by the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Training, a fully owned entity of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University. Bachelor of Education - Primary and Physical Education/Sport (BP320PPE) (098535C): The Bachelor of Education (Primary & PE/Sports) offers students an education degree for primary teaching, with a specialization in Health, Physical Education and Sports Education. This degree will prepare students for classroom teaching and/or teaching health, physical and sports education in educational settings. They will develop their knowledge, skills and capabilities to work actively with learners in the classroom and on the sporting field through a combination of theoretical knowledge, and professional experience. It prepares them for the dynamic and challenging world of education. It provides students with globally transferable skills and a qualification that can lead them to practicing as a teacher in Australia and overseas. They will experience a variety of interactive learning and teaching approaches, including both face-to-face and online. Students will undertake Professional Experience placements, within a variety of educational settings that provide learning activities linking theory with practice, particularly in relation to the special education sector. This program is primarily delivered in face-to-face mode at the Bundoora Campus.
